It is possible to benefit from the virtues of essential and vegetable oils wherever you go! Going away from home sometimes requires us to adapt to certain changes to which our body does not always follow. Sunburn, mosquitoes, digestive problems, bruises, bumps... In this article, we give you our essential and 100% natural remedies, to take in your first aid kit, to deal with the inconveniences that travel can bring.

6 ESSENTIAL OILS IN MY FIRST FIRST KIT:

1. NEWT LAVENDER:

Intensely soothes stings and burns.

Lavender Aspic is the healing and analgesic essential oil par excellence. It is generally used against wasp stings or bites from small venomous animals. Its cleansing and pain-relieving properties also make it very valuable against burns and fungal infections. This oil will therefore be perfect in case of sunburn for example.

2. PEPPERMINT:

Against travel sickness, headaches and digestive disorders.

Peppermint is a must in the world of essential oils. This great pain-relieving oil is excellent in particular for relieving digestive disorders (nausea, vomiting, indigestion), reduced concentration and headaches. It will also be useful for awareness while driving to provide a boost. For tone, nothing could be simpler, just apply a drop of oil to the forehead. In addition, it provides a very pleasant refreshing effect. However, it should be avoided in children under six years of age and in pregnant women.

  • Olfactory route : smell directly from the bottle, put on a support such as a tissue or put on the car floor mat.
  • Sublingual use : 1 to 2 drops of peppermint 3x/day.

Synergy tip : To achieve your after-sun moisturizing synergy, simply mix 50 ml of hemp vegetable oil with 10 drops of peppermint essential oil. Apply this synergy in the evening after your shower. This combination will give you lightly scented and deeply nourished skin.

3. TEA-TREE:

Disinfect and sanitize.

Tea Tree essential oil is a great anti-infectious and anti-parasitic agent. It will be used for any bacterial, viral, fungal or parasitic infection. A true multifunctional essential oil, it will be of great help whether for small acne spots, canker sores, colds or even sore throats for example.   • Cutaneous route : In the event of a wound or other inconvenience: after cleaning the wound, 3 to 4 drops of pure tea tree essential oil max. 3 to 4 days.

4. YLANG-YLANG:

Help to let go!

Ylang-Ylang essential oil, which means “flowers of flowers” ​​or “scent of all scents,” has important antidepressant and nerve-relaxing properties. On vacation, it will help you completely let go and regain your nervous and sexual tone.

Synergy tip: Ylang-ylang essential oil is generally not applied pure but in synergy with a vegetable oil. This summer, we recommend a perfect combination to tone and enhance your complexion. Simply mix 50 ml of carrot vegetable oil with 5 drops of Ylang-ylang essential oil. Apply the mixture every evening, working it in properly for a guaranteed healthy glow.

5. JAVA LEMONSELLA:

SOS mosquitoes and body aches.

Java Lemongrass is an essential oil with anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and antifungal properties. This little bottle will therefore be useful to you for three main reasons:

Protect yourself from mosquitoes.

Soothe the itching of bites (for mosquitoes that still managed to get through).

Relieve aches and pains.

  • Atmospheric diffusion : 10 drops of Java lemongrass essential oil in a diffuser.
  • Cutaneous use : 3 to 4 drops of Java lemongrass essential oil diluted in vegetable oil or in body milk on exposed limbs at dusk after showering for great protection against mosquitoes. It is important to always dilute this essential oil in a carrier such as vegetable oil if applying it to the skin.

6. IMMORTAL:

The anti-hematoma par excellence.

Immortelle , also called “Italian Helichrysum”, is a very powerful anti-trauma, anti-hematoma and anti-inflammatory essential oil. It will be useful for blows, bruises, bumps, wounds, etc. It is also used to reduce skin scars and promote good healing once the wound is closed.   • Cutaneous use : 1 to 2 drops of pure immortelle essential oil after a blow to reduce pain and hematoma and/or absorb it quickly, on a sprain or strain.

Synergy tip : To reduce a bruise, mix 10 drops of immortelle essential oil in 50 ml of Arnica Vegetable Oil

5 VEGETABLE OILS IN MY FIRST FIRST KIT

1. VANILLA

    Synergy tip : Calendula mixed with aspic lavender essential oil will soothe and repair the skin in the event of sunburn and bites. You can achieve your synergy by mixing 50 ml of calendula vegetable oil with 35 drops of aspic lavender essential oil.

    3. HEMP:

    Gentle oil for sensitive skin.

    Hemp is the gentle oil par excellence, including for dry and sensitive skin. Thanks to the essential fatty acids it contains, the skin is directly hydrated. Naturally nourishing, it is perfect for mature and dry skin.

      In addition, thanks to its various moisturizing and revitalizing properties, it is also found in hair care compositions. Its very penetrating power also makes it an oil of choice for massages.

      4. CARROT:

      Natural self-tanner.

      Carrot Oil Macerate is an important source of pro-vitamin A (or beta-carotene) as such it brings a healthy glow and brightens the complexion. Carrot is essential in the composition of any good tanning preparation product but also after-sun care.

      Be careful, however, essential and vegetable oils do not protect against UV rays.

        Homemade recipe for a natural self-tanner: Carrot vegetable oil 20 ml + apricot kernel vegetable oil 10 ml. Massage into cleansed face and neck morning and evening.

        5. COCONUT:

        The precious multifunction.

        Coconut Oil with nourishing and softening properties is an essential vegetable oil for the holidays. It is used in body care to nourish dry or sun-exposed skin and in hair care to make a protective mask. It will also serve as a makeup remover and mouthwash if you wish.
